Belly Satisfying Chicken Parmesan Soup.

This recipe is definitely one of my favorite!!!. I remembered a time where i had to make a quick chicken soup to go along with some great american pasta. I wanted to try out something different and after hours of thinking up something unique, i finally settled for this.

You can try this out especially in cold seasons,i personally think that this soups are best taken in cold seasons. They refresh your body and are more waist-friendly. For my dearest chicken parmesan soup, you can combine them with some delicious appetizers like delicious seared salmon and some refreshing drinks after.

For the ingredients, i picked ordered my special penne pasta from a nearby store and had my boneless skinless chicken breast delivered to me at my house right on time before i started. They were neatly chopped already so i didn't have to stress myself over cutting them.

So for this recipe,i used some crushed tomatoes, simmered along with some garlic, basil and onions to prepare it. Then i added some red pepper to give it an aromatic base.

Equipment.

  • Good medium sized pot.
  • Large spoon.
  • Knife.
  • Chop-boards.
  • Measuring Spoons.
Ingredients.
  • 4 minced cloves of mincedgarlic.
  • 1 cup of crushed tomatoes.
  • 1 teaspoon of salt.
  • 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper.
  • 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes.
  • 2 teaspoon of  fresh oregano.
  • 2 teaspoon of unsalted butter[optional].
  • Chopped fresh basil or parsley.
  • ½ Cup of shredded Parmesan cheese.
  • 5 Cups of chicken broth.
  • 4 Ounces of uncooked pasta.
Directions.
  • In a cooker, add water/broth and stir in garlic, tomatoes, chicken breasts, pepper, basil oregano, salts, black pepper and red pepper as well. Cook for 20-30 minutes.
  • Wash chicken properly and coarsely shred, but since mine has already been shredded, set it aside.
  • Add pasta to boiling mixture and cook for another 20-30 minutes until its completely soft. This thickens soup a lil-bit. You can also stir in butter if desired. If soup becomes too thick you can add more chicken broth or water until desired consistency is reached.
  • Serve garnished with extra parmesan cheese and chopped basil or parsley.
Recipe Note.
  • To save time you can increase the heat from the cooker so that your soup is ready in no time. But time is needed for this recipe to turn out just great!!.
  • You can decide to add your chicken a little to late,if you dont like them too soft.
