Sparkling Mango Lemonade.

Nothing says summer to me than some freshly prepared lemonade. Initially back in the days,my lemonade was some mix of flavored powdered in warm water,i really enjoyed it though but it never really gave me this feeling of satisfaction. So yeah it sucked!!

But then i took it upon my self to try out some lemonades for myself, i guess it wasn't a bad idea after all. So let's just say that my first lemonade ever, was a success. Good thing is that i haven't stopped trying out new recipes since then.


Before coming up with this recipe i actually tried a mango lemonade which i came across on African bites and they were just awesome!! The savory taste is definitely one that i won't ever forget. Funny enough i tried to make another glass but it just didn't taste like the exact first glass of mango lemonade that i made. But i guess it happens most times.

But in today's recipe i am specifically going to share with you my delicious recipe on how to prepare a nutrient-filled lemonade. For this recipe i used some fresh mangoes and good lemon. I also combined it with some lemon-filled sparkling water.

Also you can try using a different flavor of sparkling water together with this tasty mango lemonade. A good way to take this is by taking them together with some chicken parmesan soup,Grilled chicken Sharwama or some japaneese radish salad. That's just heaven trust me!! So lets get started.


Equipment.

  • Medium Saucepot.
  • Hand blender.
  • Stirring spoons.
  • Medium sized strainer.
  • Pitcher.
Ingredients.
  • 2 Cups of chopped mangoes.
  • 2 Cups of granulated sugar.
  • 4 Cups of water.
  • 3 Cups of flavored sparkling lemon water.
  • ½ Teaspoon of water.
Directions.

Easy method.
  • Puree mango,sugar,lemon water,lemon juice together with a cup of water. Adjust thickness by adding more water.
  • pour in glass and add ice cubes to make chilled.
Syrup method.
  • In saucepot add sugar and water,stir and cook for 4-6 minutes until sugar is completely dissolved and syrup is gotten. Remove from heat and cool.
  • Puree mangoes and lemon juice in a blender until smooth. strain through a strainer to remove solid fiber strands from mixture.
  • Pour mango liquid into pitcher,add sugar syrup; Stir until mixture is well combined.
  • For serving; Divide mixture into 6 glasses;top each glass by adding with ½ cup of sprinkling water and some ice cubes.
Recipe Note.


  • Remember to regulate quantity of lemonades by cutting down on quantity of ingredients.
  • Mango liquid should be properly strained so that your drink is fiber free.
